Ach, God, that hurts. I had my whole uncrackpotty, reasoned, gentle essay paged, and then I had to get fancy and include recs and lost the whole ball of wax. Sheiss, I need to stop plexing about the little things -- my blood pressure is hammering.

Okay, from the top: this is not a blacklist. I DO NOT wish to imply the authors are guilty of ill intent. I got rather steamed on another list and accused the authors of unlabled spoiler fic of "not playing fair," and I wish to retract that. Emphatically. There are a ton of reasons a fic containing spoilers might not have a warning in the header -- I write the lousiest headers in fandom and routinely space on pertinent information.

That said, I am spoiled rotten. I keep up as best I can, and I know when a rumor becomes a pretty solid thing, documented by script leaks and reliable summaries. If a fic appears *after* such breaks and contains details, significant developments, or script lines, I consider it spoiler fic, not speculation fic.

The math, though, is problematic. What is a spoiler now in the USA as of AtS 5x01 will not be a spoiler here a week hence. I have no idea when things air in Australia, for example, or if it mileage might vary. I will try to keep this thing up as best I can for as long as there's reason, though. As of this writing I'm spoiled up to a sliver of AtS 5x07, and though spoilers are much scarcer with AtS than they ever were with Buffy, I will do my best.

I read/scan far more than is strictly healthy, but of course I don't read everything. *g* If a fic is not found below and anyone's wondering if it's veggie, please contact me. I'll be happy to look at it and get to back to you.

Right. Here goes. The unspoiled might want to give these fics a miss until Christmas, more or less (this is based on the Unspoiled equation of USA airing date+ Better-Safe-Than-Sorry+ genuinely inspired Specfic -Specfic based on spoilers-random trailers and online chatter.
