in terms of effectiveness, Go, Spain, with your million-marches with banners that say "Cowards!" and "Assassins!" Those images of mass grief and protest resonate throughout the world, and they are a real answer to the murderers who took your brothers, sisters, coworkers and friends.
If the reactionaries did it or AQ did it makes no difference. They both fucked themselves, in terms of terror. Footage of your response brought tears to my eyes, Spain. Viva Espana.
(And a tastefully low-key nod to everyone who took the subway in NYC the last couple of days. I never liked living with you guys, but you have my respect. Like Rudy.)
