The package for the Booker T Washington project arrived today. Full script, a ton of reference, a mock layout. Very thorough.


Must go! Power going!

Got a call from the show and they've sent another script section. This is good because every time I do a section I'm afraid I'll get fired. However, it's due yesterday. Not unusual, but I have the Booker T thing going now, too. Well, better too much work than too little.

So: the power went out. It's back on. But the electric pilot fritzed when the power blew, and now the place is freezing.

The landlord came by to fix things, but (you guessed it) the pilot's in the basement apartment and the lunatic basement dwellers won't open the door. I'm boggling. WTF? Who does this? Who'd rather freeze than let the landlord in? What the hell have they got down there?

The obvious question remains: if I've got to have insane people in the basement, why can't I have a couple of post-soul Spikes? This whole thing is a complete rip.

Anyway, fine, let them freeze their krayzeh asses off. I have a fireplace.

*trudges off to Target to buy several dozen starter logs.*
