I should be doing something. Something is what I should do. I'm waiting for a response from my editor guy about a puzzlement/question, and until I get one I don't want to start, because it'd be wasted effort, I feel it in my bones. So I've paid a couple of bills and am generally fooling about online while Firefly natters merrily in the BG. My fave is disc 3, I think, which has the eps that made me fall in love: Out of Gas and War Stories.
*checks email* Nada. I could go to the art supply place and get some paper I can use with the lightbox, I guess. But the minute I leave the editor will email or call, and I'll miss it, or pick the call up in traffic and die in a spectaular crash. Choices.
They sent me two full-sized color make-readys of the Booker T book, one set with helpful notes. Pretty! I'm stoked. And they're so thorough -- I love that.
And I got an email from the kid's show producer complimenting my work on the last script section, mon Dieu. This was the section I had to finish in about four days, and I was pretty certain it'd get me fired, but he liked it. So I guess I still have a job with them -- he asked, are you available for another chunk, busy like you are? I sound the "whew" of relief.
Okay, art supplies it is. I have a coupon.
