That's one big aggressive fish. Jeepers.
(A fisherman at Sydney's Long Reef filmed the 5 metre (16ft) shark circling Justin Stanger and Steve Kulscar, the latter having been knocked him from his craft by the great white. The fisherman came to the kayaker's rescue, hauling him into his boat.)
Spent the day storyboarding, got a box of comps from That Company, meditated in the afternoon ... after which I was so exhausted I gave up on going to the gym. Sometimes meditation is intense for me, and today was one of those days, so.
Kinda really need to get back to the gym, though. The strep throat thing took forever to go away and now I'm all noodly and undefined and wretched.
Saw Milk last night, and it was excellent and profoundly moving, which I more or less expected from what I'd heard. What I didn't expect was... hm, how do I explain this. Okay. All the performances were greatwith the exception of "Dianne Feinstein's" off-cam "voiceover" or whatever the hell that was, but Sean Penn's didn't register in my brain as a performance at all. I never for one instant realized, while he was speaking, that I was watching an actor: I was watching Harvey Milk. I can't remember having that experience before -- it's just boggling what Penn does with the role.
I wish I had some eggnog. Oh, blessed eggnog, why don't you teleport?
