Haven't posted in a while, so here's a bit of Cap/Iron man art. Because anything beats bitching about the state of my life right now. :)

Awesome sauce! I love the coloring, too, especially the gentle gradient on Tony's armor and the upward lighting on his face. Now I'm envisioning a whole fanfic where Newly Fugitive Tony goes on the run and finds the One True Accept-No-Substitutes Cap fishing on an ice floe somewhere in the Arctic Circle. :-)

It's weird to see Cap without his ear wings, though - is that the Ultimate incarnation, or has the regular Marvelverse version done away with the wings too, and I just never noticed? See, if I did more fan art, I'd have a better handle on all these costume details.

Ah, the Cap Iron Man relationship is a well of awesome. Maybe you'll see some of it in the upcoming movies (and hopefully it will win there, too).
