The last hard slog

Unnnnngh. This job will be done by tomorrow, but I can't do anymore today. I'm finishing the last three pages, two of them shoved to the bottom of the pile because of extensive and tiresome background work. One is set in an ancient Egyptian library and village... that's done, actually. Another is set in the bleeping Library of Congress and it's a two page spread. The last is just a page crammed with a lot of people doing a lot of stuff on multiple planes -- I can't face it today.

Maybe I'll just go see Watchmen finally. I was putting it off as my end-of-project-treat, but maybe I need it as my end-of-project last-effort rejuvenator. Or I could be virtuous and scan the pages that are already done? Oh God DO NOT WANT. I have cabin fever, I really do.

For grebo, from ontd_science, what I like to think of at Tony Stark's seventh grade extra credit project, revived by a rare Malibu lightning bolt and stuggling to find a place in the modern world (and prone to self doubt -- look at those last frames):

Is this as cute as monkeys flossing? Not to me, but then I'm a sap for animals. )

Craaaaaaamerrr! You short selling flossmonkey!

Hm, I may be weary.

I never got to Watchmen. I lacked even the oomph to go to a movie, for heaven's sake. I was a waste today.

But I'll finish the book tomorrow and maybe go to the gym as penance or something...

Flossing monkeys! FLOSSING MONKEYS!!!

That is amazing. I love it. They're so diligent and fastidious! Bleeeee!

The dancing robot is excellent too. I want one of those. I needs a less creepy face, though. Looks like Ghost Rider wearing a motorcycle helmet. Which is just plain wrong. Either paint flames on that thing or change its face!

Neato video. I do like how it just totally loses steam at the end. "I suuuuuck."

Keep on kickin' ass on this book you're drawing. You are amazing and powerful and you rule!

Sweet little flossing monkeys. Poor little robot with no self esteem.

(Pretty much wasted the afternoon, sigh)

Too cute! Love it when he danced! XD And GO! Go see Watchmen as it rocks hardcore! =D Hope it does the trick to help boost you through your work hun! :)

Still no Watchmen! But at leas the book is done.

Glad to hear you finished the book, I'm sure that's a load of stress off you!

I went back for take two of Watchmen =D I'm still loving it. There are a couple things of course that most fans will grumble about (like the too long sex scenes and the excessive violence that wasn't necessary IMO, but for Hollywood, it's phenomenal!) =D

I find it depressing that a creepy robot is a better dancer than me, despite having no legs.

*watches the monkeys instead, then dancing cockatiels on Youtube*

The poor robot doesn't rate its own skills at all, I can just tell.

I like to show my cat the lyrebird vid on youtube. She goes nuts for the lyrebird.

Ha! Wow.

(I liked the comment "Sell it to the armed forces")

"Watchmen" is pretty awesome. They changed a few things from the book, but it did not affect my unwavering love.

Plus Billy Crudup is naked! w00t!
