I'm in the stretch coloring Booker T Washington and have been playing ATS for four straight days.

Auuugh! Angel desperately forgiving Connor as Connor rivets him into his coffin o'doom! Auuuugh woobie fit auuugh!!!!!

Sorry. I just somehow never truly appreciated it before.

I'm better, because I soon got to S4 and busted a gut over Spin the Bottle, which I'd never seen before. :)

*hugs poor cyn*

Yeah. It was a killer.

Add to it's inherent poignancy and chills, my claustrophobia. *shudders*

There's something about watching (well, listening to, in my case, BC of the work) these in order that really brings home the wahh.

"I love you, Connor!" [rivet: scree!]

*shivers*

Which is probably what confirmed me in my Woobie-ness. As if any confirmation was needed.

Tak my hand, dear sister, and let us do spring woobie dances.

Isn't there, like, a song we sing, along with the wreaths of daisies?

I think it goes:

Oh, Spike is a woobie,
And Angel is a woobie too,
And Michael is so woobified
He makes us fall down and turn blue.

And when Mulder gets his woobie on
We scarcely know what to do
But caper amid all the delicious angst,
And for the sufferin' woobies coo.

I may have that last line wrong...

Oh, I've been singing:

I love my Woobie Angel,
I love my Woobie Spike,
I love my Woobie Mulder,
but most of all, I love Mike.

Track 5 of the Angel sountrack, Home, makes me (almost) tear up, every time I listen to it. Sighhh.

I can't put AtS on when I'm working because I can't not watch. Instead I put 'Friends' on a loop, sound only, all seasons. That's a pleasant background. Or Frasier.

I'm so tempted to colour at least one page of my comic, but I was out all easter weekend frolicking in the sun. Because, sun! Got no work done and it's gonna bite me in the ass if I don't get going real soon.

Speaking as one who currently has a thoroughly bitten ass: stay home and work! Learn of me. Today the weather was gorgeous, and all my friends had the day off, and I was stuck here toiling for 12 hours because I skipped a few days to frolic/assemble desks early on.

The self pity feels... icky. ;)

Friends, huh? I might try that. I'm getting close to the point where I know all the Joss stuff by heart. And if I have to listen to one more minute of daytime TV -- even Judge Judy -- something around here's going to end up broken.

Sound advice. I dunno if that did it, but in any case I got a load of work done yesterday and today, and I think I'm back on schedule *sigh of relief*. Two double-page drafts in two days, that's actually much faster than I was before my days of slacking. A little panicking can do wonders.

't was tempting, though, seeing all the people outside in the sun.

Now I just wanna stay awake for 40 more minutes, until the new No Limits ep comes out. Gotta have a treat :)

Your comic page looks great. Out of curiosity, how long do you need for the average page of comic? One page takes me about three days, at least, and I really think I should be able to do it faster. It's partly a concentration thing... often I'll just stare at the paper for half an hour at a time. It doesn't seem very efficient. On the other hand, maybe that's all part of the creative process.

Though I tend to need a lot less staring time, the closer a deadline. So maybe not...

I almost don't dare mention it, but I somehow got caught watching 'The Games' on British channel 4. Yes. Reality tv. But it's really quite gripping, and, well, not exactly mentally challenging... so it's cool to watch while working, so...

I hear you. Some of the stuff that was so powerful originally is even more so seeing it all back to back to back. Watching Fred in Sacrifice while knowing what's coming for her in Hole in the World just makes me sob.

I'm going to right back into AtS 5 after this (because there's another deadly deadline right after this one). Thak God for DVDs. I'd be mad if it weren't for the Joss fix right now.
