The position, when I talked to my bishop, was this:

"this all happened in the 70s, when we thought pedophilia could be cured. So we shipped these guys off to the Catholic Religious Nut Farms,* and then they got back into circulation when the shrinks passed them."

Okay. Fair enough. If you cry ignorance once to me, I'll give you the bye.

But this anti-Gay Inquistion is from the very devil. I implore every parish priest, every nun, brother and religious: look at this. Look at the VIOLENCE it does to charity. Look at what it does to the vows. This is monstrous. This is Spain and Torquemada again.
